Fat Burning Coconut Macaroons

A sweet treat that helps your body bun fat?! Absolutely!
Eating lots of good fat actually encourages your body to use fat stores for energy (which is what we all want, right?).  So make a batch of these sweet treats and help the fat melt off!

Fat Burning Coconut Macaroons

- 1 cup raw organic almonds
- 2 1/2 cups raw dehydrated coconut flakes, unsweetened
- 1/2 cup cocolate "Perfect Protein" powder
- 2-3 tablespoons raw organic unsweetened cocoa
- Stevita brand stevia to taste 
- 6-9 tablespoons warm liquid virgin coconut oil, enough to achieve a slightly soft consistency
- 2 tablespoons flax seeds

1. In blender or food processor, grind almonds and flax seeds.  Blend in remaining ingredients, except 1/2 cup coconut flakes.

2. Remove mixture and spoon out tablespoon sized servings, roll into a ball, then roll the ball in coconut flakes.  Place on a cookie sheet or shallow baking dish and chill in refrigerator.

Serves 12.  Serving size: 1 macaroon
