Chelation Therapy

Chelation Therapy

Chelation is an advanced healing protocol that is used remove toxic heavy metals and other substances from the body, remove harmful calcium build-up and chemicals from the blood vessels, improve blood flow, and promote healing. We offer EDTA and DMPS Chelation therapy.

EDTA chelation primarily targets calcium, lead, and some other heavy metals. When EDTA binds to a targeted substance, it forms a stable complex which is excreted through urine.

DMPS has a unique molecular structure which enables it to penetrate cellular membranes and access the inside of a cell, where many toxins accumulate. DMPS also forms as stable bond to the targeted substances and promotes elimination through the kidneys and liver. DMPS is able to bond to a wide range of heavy metals, such as mercury, lead, cadmium, and arsenic. In addition to it's chelating abilities, DMPS also exhibits antioxidant properties and aids in restoring cellular function, so it is a very effective tool for removing heavy metals and enhancing the body's detoxification ability and overall well-being.

What Can I Expect During Chelation Therapy?

The doctor will determine the appropriate medication type, dosage, delivery method, and recommended length of treatment after completing your consultation, examination, and any necessary testing on your initial visit. In most cases, a binding agent is utilized in addition to chelation therapy to prevent re-absorption of toxins.

We work with local patients in the greater Pittsburgh area, as well as virtually with patients across the United States and around the world.
