This hot chocolate recipe is not only delicious, but using good fat and protein ingredients will actually make this a quick and easy meal replacement.
Ingredients:
6 ounces (1/2 can) organic full-fat coconut milk
6 ounces organic unflavored almond milk
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I recommend bone broth protein or grass-fed whey protein)
2 tbsp raw cacao or cocoa
Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan and whisk until well combined. Heat on medium heat while stirring occasionally, until liquid simmers. Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy. (If you are using an unsweetened protein, add a little raw honey, to taste).
