Mistletoe Therapy

Mistletoe therapy has been used as a complementary and integrative therapy across the globe for close to a century. Mistletoe injections have been shown to stimulate the immune system and may help offset the side effects of cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation,  including nausea, vomiting, and lack of appetite. Research has shown that mistletoe can also be used to help reduce tumor-related pain and may help to reduce the risk of tumor recurrence.

Mistletoe can be administered as a subcutaneous injection under the skin, or as an intravenous infusion. Patient eligibility, dose, frequency, and method of administration are determined during your initial examination with our medical provider.

We work with local patients in the greater Pittsburgh area, as well as virtually with patients across the United States and around the world.
