A mango lassi is a sweet and creamy traditional Indian beverage. They are delicious with spicy food, but I thought that they would make a delicious smoothie variation, as well. While mango is relatively high in fructose (compared to berries, which we typically recommend for smoothies), this is delicious as an occasional breakfast treat!
Vanilla Mango Lassi Smoothie
Ingredients:
3/4 cup fresh or frozen mango chunks
3/4 cup organic whole/full-fat plain yogurt (grass-fed is best, if available)
1 scoop grass-fed vanilla whey protein
1/2 - 3/4 cup water (depending on preferred thickness)
Instructions:
Blend all ingredients in a blender. Enjoy!
